The American Hot Rod Association has named Max Cackle Photography as the Official Photographer of the 2010 AHRA Series and Reunion Tour. Max Cackle is a creation of Chris Graves and has provided photography service for the Outlaw Fuel Altered Association for the past decade along with being a regular contributor to numerous drag racing print and online media outlets.
Max Cackle Photography will be attending numerous AHRA events including the National Reunion Tour. Located in Dallas, Texas, Max Cackle is also just a short drive away from the AHRA hub of the southwest, Thunder Road Raceway in Shreveport, Louisiana where the AHRA Reunion Tour will make it’s debut April 30th/May 1st.
Max Cackle Photography will not only cover all AHRA events, but offer photos to each and every competitor participating in AHRA events. Max Cackle can produce everything from posters, hero cards to media photos and more.
Chris Graves brings a well rounded drag racing background to the AHRA series with years of experience as a crew member for Dale Creasy Jr, Mitch King and Tony Pedregon. A business graduate from the University of North Texas, Graves is also a staff member of the Texas Blown Fuel Association, a newly formed association that will entertain at two AHRA reunion tour dates in 2010, Shreveport and San Antonio.
“I started shooting photos when the big boys came to Texas for national events, using the same fully manual 35mm camera my father used when he was a teenager. Before I could drive a car, I was on the road with Troy Green’s Nostalgia Top Fuel team following the nitro trail everywhere I could, from Bakersfield to Indy. I used that same 35mm camera until 2002, before joining the digital bandwagon. I am very excited about the return of the AHRA series and want to thank Troy Moe specifically for the chance to be a part of such a special series. We are greatly anticipating the season opener in Shreveport,” said Graves.
“AHRA is very pleased in having the opportunity to engage Max Cackle and Chris Graves to handle our photography needs for our upcoming Reunion Tour events. The quality of Chris’s products are second to none. We are proud to offer his services to our member tracks and participants.” Stated Troy Moe CEO of AHRA.
